Degas A. Wright, CFA
President and Chief Executive Officer
 
As the founding principal of Decatur Capital Management, Inc., Degas is responsible for setting investment policy, asset allocation, and security selection for clients' managed accounts.
 
Degas graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, a Master of Science degree in Economics from University of Texas at El Paso, Texas. He became a captain in the U.S. Army.  In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the NASD Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor license.
 
Degas served as Corporate Treasurer for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) managing its reserve funds.  Also, he served as member of the pension committee.  He has numerous years of experience in economic analysis and investment management.
 
 In addition, to his career achievements, he has served on several nonprofit boards in leadership positions.

 

Ralph J. Bryant, CPA

Chief Compliance Officer

 

As a principal of Decatur Capital Management, Ralph is responsible for the firm’s compliance program, risk management, and trading.

 

Ralph completed an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Columbus State University and an accounting major from the University of Miami in Oxford, Ohio.  Ralph is an U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam Conflict.  Mr. Bryant completed the requirements for the Certified Public Accountant designation in 1976.

 

Ralph has over 25 years of experience in financial and real estate management. Additionally, he has been a key employee in a Big Five accounting firm and has managed finances for major companies.

 

His approach is to structure transactions that are in compliance with current laws and most beneficial to our clients.


 

Erika McGrew

Research Analyst

 

Erika is responsible for supporting the firm’s development and implementation of quantitative and fundamental investment research.

 

Erika graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tennessee State University with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and from Clark Atlanta University with an MBA degree in Finance. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor society and is currently a candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. She brings an extensive background in technical analysis, mathematics, and research.


 

Nanette Hill

Director of Operations

 

Nanette is responsible for directing and overseeing the firm’s operational policies, objectives, and initiatives, back office support, and for maintaining the firm’s internal data as well as various industry databases.

 

She brings several years of administrative experience to the team. Nanette has attended Hunter College in New York with a major in economics.
