The academic advisory board is an integral part of the DCM process. The academic advisory board serves to generate new research ideas, vet the existing quantitative modeling, and help the firm stay abreast of developments in academic literature. In essence, the academic advisory board provides an intellectual oversight of the firm’s investment process. The board was initially implemented in 2007 and meets regularly at the firm’s office.
